It's going to rain fire this time (Gen 9:15, II Peter 3:10-14) for our Elohim is a consuming fire (Heb 12:29).

Ages and Dispensations

Overview | 1st age | 2nd age | 3rd age | 4th, present, age | 5th age | 6th, 7th, 8th ages

Please be aware that the Ages and Dispensations contain relationships to the Days of Creation and the Tabernacle Pattern.
Some of these Days of Creation relationships will be mentioned below,
but it is beyond the scope of this lecture to include the Tabernacle Pattern relationships at this time.

Essentially the Ages and Dispensations encapsulate the plan to accomplish Yahweh's purpose:

"Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath PURPOSED in Himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in the Messiah, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him" (Ephesians 1:9-10).

First Yahweh took on shape and form, right within Himself, as Elohim, a supernal incorporeal form without flesh and blood Who is seen in visions and dreams and is how Yahweh chooses to manifest Himself to mankind (Num. 12:6; Prov 29:18). "In the beginning (of Moses' vision of the creation as depicted in Genesis 1) was the Word (Elohim) and the Word was with Yahweh, and the Word was Yahweh" (John 1:1). Then Elohim went into the creating business, creating first the spirit realm and then the physical realm. After the physical creation, Elohim presented Himself in visions to selected persons (prophets) to announce what He wanted done and what would happen in the future (Exodus 24:9-10; Jer 1:2; Ex 1:3; Hosea 1:1; Joel 1:1; Micah 1:1; Zeph 1:1 and other places) in order to forward the plan that would culminate in His purpose that He had willed even before taking on a supernal form as Elohim. The 1st age was the creation age which started with the spiritual creation of angelic beings and then the physical creation was accomplished which is a shadow and type of the spiritual creation.

During the 2nd age (the 1st age being the creation age), after the fall of Adam and Eve and their expulsion from the garden of Eden, Yahweh had the 1st and 2nd or Adamic and Noahic dispensations (divine ordering of events in time). During this 2nd age people were allowed to guide themselves by their inborn conscience. What started the 2nd or Noahic dispensation was when Noah was told a flood was coming that would bring the end of mankind on the earth (Genesis 6:13-14), except for Noah who found "grace in the sight of Yahweh" (Genesis 6:7-8). Noah was told to build a boat to save himself and his family. This 2nd age was the ante-deluvian age (the age before the flood which is also called the age of conscience), which ended by the flood which Yahweh caused to come upon the earth that only left 8 persons alive because man was "evil continually" (Gen 6:5,13,18; 7:4).

During the 3rd or post-deluvian age (the age after the flood) Yahweh began His salvation work with Abraham (Gen 12-25:8) out of whom the 12 tribes of Israel came which found themselves, as prophesied, in a strange land (Egypt) for 400 years (Gen15:13-14) before He rescued them and gave them the Old Covenant or Law of Moses in the Wilderness at Mount Sinai (Exodus) which was a "holy place" (Exodus 3:5) likened unto the Holy Place of the Tabernacle Pattern that was given to Moses for Israel to construct at Mt. Sinai, which pattern is how everything is created and functions: it is Yahweh's divine pattern. The 3rd age accounted for the 3rd and 4th dispensations, the latter of which began with the exodus of Israel from Egypt.

1490 years after the 4th dispensation began it was brought to an end, along with the 3rd age, when Yahshua the Messiah died, was buried, resurrected after 3 days and, after having been seen for 40 days by over 500 persons (Acts 1:3, I Cor 15:6), He ascended in a vision (Acts 1:9) and poured out His Holy Spirit (Acts 2:2-4) 10 days later at Pentacost (total of 53 days from his death). Pentacost ushered in the 4th, present Kingdom age which accounts for the 5th and 6th dispensations. During this age part of the spiritual kingdom of Yahweh is on the physical earth (Col 1:13) and the spiritual assembly or body of Yahshua (or His bride) is being formed (Eph 1:22, Col 1:24). This current 4th age is a spiritual one where, while yet in a physical body, a person can receive the Holy Spirit through faith (Eph 2:18, Heb 11:1, 6) and enter into the Kingdom of Heaven in his or her soul or mind: become spiritually minded instead of carnally minded (Romans 8:7). We are still in this age on the very edge of its ending, the ending of TIME and the physical plane, and the beginning of the 5th age at the universal revelation of Yahshua the Messiah (II Thess 1:7-8).

The 5th age is one of immortality (I Cor 15:53), the Sabbath or rest from evil, and we are promised a new (spiritual) earth state (II Peter 3:13; I Cor 15:50-54; Rev 21:1; Isa 65:17,66:22; Eph 2:19-22, 3:14-15). The physical plane is a shadow of the spiritual realm or true reality. The peace that will exist there (because Satan and his angels have been cast out - Rev 12:10 HN, Rev 12:9 KJ) can be known now when one has the Holy Spirit but can only be seen "through a glass darkly" (I Cor 13:12) while yet in the flesh. Getting the Holy Spirit and eternal life comes from knowing Yahweh is the only True El (god) and also Yahshua the Messiah whom the world calls Jesus Christ (John 17:3: "And this is life eternal, that they might know that, Thou only art the true El, and Yahshua the Messiah, Whom Thou has sent").

NOTE: While the 1st or creation age was in eternity and therefore had no time period as we know it, the 2nd through 4th ages exist in time and are approximately 2000 years in length with some being shorter and some longer in time. The three ages in time, with two dispensations each, unfold a total of six dispensations in the physical. However, there are a total of 7 dispensations, the first six of which each show forth aspects of the 6 days of creation with the 7th dispensation being the Sabbath (7th) day of rest in the creation as it will be in the immortality of the 5th and continuing ages.
Overview | 1st age | 2nd age | 3rd age | 4th, present, age | 5th age | 6th, 7th, 8th ages
1st Age
The 1st age was the creative age. First came the angelic creation, and second came the physical creation. "In the beginning" of the physical creation there was physcial chaos (unstructured elements) in which "the earth was without form and void" (Genesis 1:2). Then:
"...the spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters. And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light. And Elohim saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim divided between the light and between the darkness. And Elohim called the light Day and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." (Genesis1:2-5).

The separation of light from darkness {not solar or cosmic light but the light of Yahshua/Yahweh Elohim: Rev 21:23} was the first day of creation. Remember "that one day with Yahweh is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day" (II Peter 3:8).

Yahweh/Elohim went on to create the physical plane during 5 more days (Genesis 1:6-32; 2:1-22) with the creation of Adam and placing him in the Garden of Eden being on the 6th day showing that man had nothing at all to do with the creation of what came before (in descending order of days): creation of the animal kingdom (sixth day but before Adam was created), creation of the birds/fish/amphibians (5th day), placing of the sun, moon and stars in the sky (4th day), creation of the seed of vegetation which came up before the sun was in the sky and gathering together of the waters and resurrection of the land beneath (3rd day), separation of the firmaments or waters (2nd day). Eve was the last to be created on the 6th day from Adam's body while he slept (a type of death during which he died to give birth to his bride, just as Yahshua would later die to save/give-birth-to His Bride). Then Yahweh/Elohim rested on the 7th day (Genesis 1:33-34).

This review of creation in the 1st and 2nd chapters of Genesis was written by Moses who saw it in a vision on his 2nd (Genesis 1) and 3rd trips (Genesis 2) to the top of Mount Sinai. These 40 day trips each are described in: 2nd trip - Exodus 24 through 32:15; and 3rd trip - Exodus 34:1-29. In addition to the seven days of creation in his 2nd trip, Moses was commanded to make the Tabernacle Pattern and given very specific instructions on how it and it's furnishings and implements should be constructed. Exodus 34:20 through 40 tell what Moses was commanded during the time of his 3rd trip up Sinai: the covenant laws and seven yearly celebrations the Israelites were to keep.

Also, on the 2nd trip Yahweh wrote the 10 commandment laws on two tables of stone which Moses later broke when he saw the Israelites worshipping the golden calf upon his return from the mount (Exodus 32:19). When Moses went back up the mount for his 3rd trip as commanded by Yahweh, he took with him two more tablets which he had himself hewn out of stone for Yahweh to again write the commandments upon. This 2nd set of stone tablets are the ones that were placed in the Ark of the covenant after it was constructed. The first set of tablets points to how the Israelites would continually break their covenant with Yahweh. The second set of tablets point to the permanence of the next covenant with Israel and the entire world which could not be broken because to enter into it one has to accept the blood sacrifice of Yahshua the Messiah and then receive His Holy Spirit which will simply keep one from disobeying Yahweh and makes it impossible for one to break this better covenant (Jer 31:33 and Hebrews 8:8-10).

In Exodus 24:16 which says, "And the glory of Yahweh abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day He called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud," after the colon (:) is where the creation vision that Moses saw on that 2nd trip belongs in the narrative but it was written about and placed in the first chapter in a book called Genesis. Then Genesis was added to after the 3rd trip where in a vision Moses saw a replay of creation in more detail including Satan in the garden of Eden and the fall of Adam and Eve which caused them to be cast out of Eden. He also saw in a vision a replay of all of the rest of the historical material written about in the book of Genesis which book is attributed to Moses by most Bible scholars.
  • 1. In addition to the Genesis 1 information, on the 2nd trip Moses was also given the design of the Tabernacle Pattern, the divine pattern of Yahweh by which everything in the physical universe and spirit realm is made and functions.
  • 2. In addition to the Genesis 2 and 3 information, on the 3rd trip Moses was also given all the 613 laws, commandments and ordinances including the 10 commandments (for the 2nd time) that Israel was to observe in their covenant with Yahweh.

After the physical creation, Adam and Eve were given two laws: "Be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:28) and "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it..." (Genesis 2:14 HN, 2:17 KJ). When the second law was broken, in fact when Eve touched that tree, the punishment came: "...for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt die the death" (Genesis 2:14 HN, 2:17 KJ) and time began. For a greater understanding of the instantaneous spiritual death of violating their conscience by disobeying Yahweh Elohim, which in fact separated them from Him spiritually, and their actual physical death, in time, during one day with Yahweh (1000 years) please click here (II Peter 3:8). When time began, the 1st or creation age was over and the 2nd age began, existing right within eternity.
During the 1st age there was a separation of light and darkness just as on the first day of creation the light was separated from the darkness (Genesis 1:3-5):
  • 1. Spiritual creation: the good angels (light) warring with the evil angels which were cast out of heaven into "outer darkness" (darkness) - Rev. 12:10 HN, 12:9 KJ.
  • 2. Physical creation: Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden in relationship with Yahweh Elohim (light) and their fall and expulsion from the garden of Eden (darkness) - Genesis 3:23.

Overview | 1st age | 2nd age | 3rd age | 4th, present, age | 5th age | 6th, 7th, 8th ages
2nd Age
The 2nd age is called the Ante-diluvian Age because it precedes the worldwide flood which, by the way, has now been accepted by some geologists to have happened - see this review of evidence. In fact, "The flood theory of geology, which was so obvious and persuasive to the founders of geology, is thus once again beginning to be recognized as the only theory which is fully consistent with the actual facts of geology, as well as with the testimony of Scripture," is stated in an article about this by Dr. Henry Morris, Ph.D.

The 2nd age is also called the Age of Conscience because in this time period Yahweh allowed each person to function by his/her own inborn conscience which tells one when spirit law has been or is about to be broken. When one's conscience is violated what ensues is guilt. Mankind from Adam on was in a fallen state at birth (separated from Yahweh), awaiting its salvation through the purpose, pattern, and plan of Yahweh which manifested at the advent of Yahshua the Messiah, His death, burial and resurrection, and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. Sin entered the world by Adam and all died in Adam through the time of the Mosaic Law even though they "had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression..." (Romans 5:12,14; I Cor 15:22).

So it is really no surprise that mankind, being separated from Yahweh, could not overcome the wiles of Satan who was given the ability to deceive the entire world (Rev. 12:10 HN, 12:9 KJ). On his second trip to the top of Mt. Sinai Moses received the vision of creation as explained in Genesis 1 only which did not explain that the angel Satan was behind mankind's sinning continually. That is why when Moses came down the mountain on that trip he waxed so hot at the idol worshiping of Israel that he broke the first set of stone tablets given to him by Yahweh Elohim (Ex 32:19). He could not understand how, after seeing all the miracles wrought by Yahweh Elohim in Israel's behalf, they could so soon (40 days) disobey the covenant they had made there at Mount Sinai with Yahweh/Elohim (Genesis 20 and 24). When he went back up, on the 3rd trip, Moses took up two new stone tablets to be written on and in Elohim's vision to him he was shown the rest of the information about Adam and Eve: a more thorough revelation of their creation and subsequent fall as depicted in Genesis 2 and 3. He saw that Satan lied to and beguiled Eve into eating the forbidden fruit who then offered it to her husband to eat (Genesis 3:6). After this 3rd trip Moses understood that mankind did evil continually because of the influence of the mightiest of angels, once named Lucifer, now called Satan. The only power that can overcome Satan is He who created this spiritual entity. Satan was given power as the God of this world or Prince of the power of the air (John 12:31,14:30;II Cor4:4; Eph 2:2 KJ) explicitly to help bring us to a knowledge of Yahweh, His ultimate power, and how much He loves us.

The first two dispensations (divine ordering of events in time) occurred in the 2nd age: 1. the Adamic dispensation where there were two laws given, one of which was kept (be fruitful and multiply) after the other had been broken (don't eat of the tree...), and 2. the Noahic dispensation wherein the evil (violation of conscience or disobedience to Yahweh) mankind did continually was brought fully to light and Yahweh said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth. But Noah (and by relation, his family) "found grace in the eyes of Yahweh..." (Genesis 6:5-8,18). Yahweh Elohim, Who is the Word of Yahweh, instructed Moses to build an ark because He was going to bring rain and break up the fountains of the deep to make a flood upon the earth to wipe it clean of evil. Moses spent 120 years building that ark showing it was clear that even though there had never been rain before on the earth (Genesis 2:5-6 KJ, 2:3-4 HN) Noah fully believed that he had been instructed by the Almighty Himself and that there was going to be a flood. This second dispensation ended with the flood which also ended the 2nd age (also called "world" - see II Peter3:6) and ushered in the 3rd age. The 2nd age was a short one of 1656 years.

Just as the 2nd day of creation dealt with the waters beneath and the waters above, during the 2nd age/2nd dispensation the fountains of the deep and the floodgates of heaven were opened so that the earth could resurrect out of the flood in the 3rd age just as it did on the 3rd day of creation (Genesis 1:9).

Overview | 1st age | 2nd age | 3rd age | 4th, present, age | 5th age | 6th, 7th, 8th ages
3rd Age
The 3rd age is called the Post-diluvian Age because it begins with the end of the flood and includes:
  • The beginning of human government (Tower of Babel and the confounding of language of all the earth and the scattering abroad events told in Genesis 11).
  • The Abrahmaic and Melchizedek story (Genesis 11:27-14:17; 14:18-19; 14:20 through 25:8) which included the promise given to Abraham that "in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou has obeyed My voice" (Genesis 12:1-3; 22:18).
  • The physical kingdom of Israel and Law of Carnal Ordinaces (Mosaic Law: Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy).
  • The Davidic Covenant (2 Sam 7:12-17).

This was a long age of 2377 years which ended when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Day of Pentecost, 53 days after the death of Yahshua the Messiah. NOTE: It was 53 days after Israel left Egypt that they received the Mosaic Law from Mt. Sinai which also came on the date (Sivan 6 or about June 6) that Pentecost later was celebrated yearly. This age ended with the Law and Prophecies of the Old Testament being fulfilled by Yahshua the Messiah (Matt 3:15, 5:17; Luke 24:25,44) Who after keeping the Mosaic law completely (as no one before him could in Israel) blotted out "the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross" (Col 2:14).

During this age, a segment of mankind which Yahweh chose to work with, the tribes of Israel which came from Abraham, proved that no human being could defeat Satan's constant battle to elevate himself over Yahweh Elohim by commanding disobedience in the children of Adam and Eve. Once this was proved (lasting 1490 years) and as specifically per prophecy in Daniel 9:24 KJ, Yahshua the Messiah Who was literally Yahweh in a specially prepared physical body came into the earth plane specifically to fulfill the law and prophecies about Himself and to die, once, for all of mankind's sins, past and present. He provided the perfect atonement, the only acceptable blood to be sacrificed which would cleanse a person from his/her sins if the gift is accepted.

During the 4th dispensation of the Old Covenant or Law of Moses, the sacrificing of animals only allowed the sinner to go on living physically but they went on sinning continually. The animals took the place of the human being (except for certain sins for which the penalty was death with no sacrifice available) who should have died according to the law so that Israel would continue to work Yahweh's purpose (Eph 1:9-10) and ultimately produce the Messiah at which time the law was to be fulfilled and set aside for a better, more lasting covenant (Hebrews 8:6-13, Jer 31:31-33).

The Mosaic law did not provide spiritual life (realignment with Yahweh which had been lost by Adam). That could only be provided by the perfect sacrifice of the completely holy Yahshua the Messiah which was the nexus of all of Yahweh's purpose. The pivotal point in time was when He died, was buried, and then resurrected on the 3rd day and 50 days later poured out His spirit (the Holy Spirit is Yahshua John 14:26) on all mankind providing spiritual salvation for all those who believe on Him, believe the report, have faith which is substance and evidence (Hebrews 11:1, 6; Romans 3:28). While He was buried He went, spiritually, to the prisoners in sheol (the grave), all those who had died before His sacrifice, and preached the gospel to them and those who believed resurrected right after Him on the 3rd day (Matt 27:52-53) after His death. Those were the "First Fruits" in the 1st resurrection which will continue until the end of the 4th age by the resurrection of souls in living persons who accept the Truth and are filled with the Holy Spirit. Thus is the Body of Yahshua, over which He is the head, being formed in these latter days .

During the 3rd day of creation the seed of vegetation appeared and grew just as in the 3rd age the seed of Abraham, the tribes of Israel, began to grow and then resurrected out of the land of Egypt into the Wilderness of Sinai to grow into a new nation.

Overview | 1st age | 2nd age | 3rd age | 4th, present, age | 5th age | 6th, 7th, 8th ages
4th, Present, Age
This is the 4th or Present Kingdom Age with a spiritual kingdom on earth that is being made up of the people who have heard the gospel and believed on Him whose name is Yahweh is Salvation, Yahshua. This assembly is a spiritual one and cannot be "joined" by one's own will but rather only by the Will of Yahweh who hath predestinated us (Eph 1:5,11) "according to the purpose of Him Who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will..."
Romans 8:28-30: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Yahweh, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He did predestinate, them He also called; and whom He called, them He also justified; and whom He justified, them He also glorified."
During this 4th age there have been two principal and prophesied kingdoms: that of Rome (legs of iron of the figure in King Nebuchadnezzar's dream interpreted by Daniel) and the Roman Catholic Church and associated countries (feet and toes of clay and iron in the same dream) both of which arose out of the previous three kingdoms designated by the figure in the King's dream all of which are broken up by the stone from heaven, Yahshua the Messiah, seen in the dream's end (Daniel 2:40-44) which will happen at the universal revelation (in a vision) of Yahshua the Messiah which brings this 4th age and TIME to an end.

Christianity (all 2000 or so doctrines of which) includes and/or has been derived from the Roman Catholic Church and has wrongly called Yahshua by the name Jesus, Yahweh the Father by the title Lord God, and Elohim by the title of God (a word that goes back in time to the word "baal" if one studies the word derivatives). Baal is associated with the worship of false gods repeatedly in the "Old Testament" and Yahweh admonished the children of Israel not to worship false "gods." These mix-ups in the true names and title have caused a great deal of problems (see Exodus 24:9 as compared to John 1:18 in the KJ for instance, which appears to be a contradiction but is not when the true titles are used as in the HN).

After being resurrected following Yahshua's resurrection, the host that received the truth in Sheol (the grave), where Yahshua went during his burial time, returned to the spiritual realm to await us who are being conformed to the Son of Yahweh now before the universal revelation. Upon the Universal Revelation of Yahshua when time ends and the physical realm is consumed by the wrath of His Coming, there will be no more time for anyone to come to a knowledge of the Truth. Everyone will be resurrected who ever lived and judged by their works. Those who have the blood of the "lamb of Yahweh" (John 1:29) covering their sins will appear as in white garments and will not be thrown into the Lake of Fire (Rev. 20:15). Now is the time of repentance, the possibility of learning the Truth, of seeing the witnesses reveal Who Yahshua was and still is in the bodies of believers today.
On the 4th day of creation the sun was placed in the sky to rule over the day (light) just as Yahshua, the Son of Righteousness, now rules as the head over those on earth who have His Holy Spirit (light). In this age there is a separation of light (Kingdom of Heaven) and darkness (Satan's kingdom) going on spiritually to create a new man: the body of Yahshua. Or stated another way, the Bride of Yahshua is being assembled who is clothed by the Son ( Rev.12:2 HN, 12:1 KJ).

Overview | 1st age | 2nd age | 3rd age | 4th, present, age | 5th age | 6th, 7th, 8th ages
5th Age
The 5th age is a purely spiritual one, barely able to be apprehended by our human minds, in which there are two states our immortal souls can be consigned: one of glorification and one of damnation. To be "saved" or "glorified" one must understand the gospel, be one of those that " by nature the things contained in the Law..." (Romans 2:19), children before the age of accountability (only known by Yahweh in each case but around 12 or 13 years of age), or be one of those people who is not in his/her right mind and therefore to Yahweh is equal to the state of an unaccountable child BEFORE the great revelation of Yahshua (I Thess 4:16) Who with His coming will usher in Yahweh's day of wrath that will take vengence on those that know not Yahweh because in one instant (" a thief in the night..." II Peter 3:10) every single soul that ever lived will be judged and given its reward (the 2nd Resurrection - currently we are still in the 1st resurrection) "...Wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless" (II Peter 3:10-12, II Thess 1:8). This is the "Great White Throne Judgment" wherein the adversary, the beast and the false prophet along with those who were not found in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire (Rev 20:10 and 15). The book of life is Yahshua in Whom His bride is protected from the wrath of Yahweh. All that will be left is the Day of Yahweh (eternity) in which the physical realm was created and then at the disobedience of Adam and Eve time began to operate for about 6,000 years, the very last days of which we are now experiencing.

After the universal revelation of Yahshua/Elohim, the new heaven and new earth which are promised (II Peter 3:13-14) are not physical at all but purely spiritual into which nothing carnal can remain.

6th, 7th, 8th Ages
We are told in Ephesians 2:7 that "in the ages to come" we will be shown the "exceeding riches of His grace, in His kindness toward us, through Yahshua the Messiah." During the 5th through 8th spritual and holy ages there will be no evil for us to contend with and there is complete unity in the Holy Spirit. Dr. Kinley said that those in the body of Yahshua, the Bride, will help decide what will then transpire in eternity after the 8th age closes.
